Fan Coil Thermostats

At Keemeet, we produce 2-pipe and 4-pipe fan coil thermostats designed for up to 3-speed fan control. These thermostats provide controls of both fans and valves, all through a color touch screen that tracks real-time temperature, humidity, and energy usage history.

They can be used in smart building, our thermostats integrate seamlessly via Wi-Fi, BACnet, Modbus, or LoRaWAN. With features like KeyCard/Occupancy inputs and specialized Eco modes, they are the go-to solution for hotels and commercial projects looking to balance guest comfort with serious energy savings.

What is a fan coil thermostat?

The fan coil thermostat acts as the command center for your FCU, adjusting fan speeds and water flow to hit your set point. They give you direct control over standard modes (Heat/Cool) and fan settings, ranging from Low to Auto.

In 2-pipe systems, a single coil handles both jobs, so the entire building either heats or cools depending on what the central plant is pumping. For more, 4-pipe systems use dedicated coils for hot and chilled water, let you heat or cool different rooms at the same time.

It is used widely in offices, hotels, hospitals, and multi‑family buildings where FCUs are supplied by central chiller and boiler plants.

Why choose Keemeet Factory's Fan Coil Thermostats

We handle everything in our own facility, running 3 SMT machines and 4 assembly lines in-house, from the production to aging tests and final packaging. This total control is how we keep wholesale prices between $15 and $50 while staying flexible with MOQs.

Want to build your own brand? We’ve got laser marking machines for your logo printing and can do custom packaging for orders over 200pcs.You don’t have to worry about quality either, we run 100% AOI testing on every single unit before it goes into the box. Plus, with over 10 years of experience shipping to Asia, Europe, and the Americas, we’ve got the logistics to ensure your order arrives safely and on time.

FAQ

In a 2-pipe system, heating and cooling share the same coil, so the thermostat just controls one valve and switches modes based on the water temperature in the pipes. A 4-pipe system is more complex, it has separate coils for hot and chilled water, meaning the thermostat has to handle two valves and make sure they are not running both at the same time.

No. You can’t just grab a standard home thermostat and expect it to work. FCUs need specific controls for multi-speed fans (Low/Med/High) and specific valve loads.

Manual models are simple and low-cost, just knobs and switches for basic on/off control. Digital and programmable versions are a step up, giving you a clear temp display and the ability to save energy with schedules. Smart models offer touchscreens and talk directly to the building management system via BACnet or Modbus.

If the thermostat is switching the mains power directly to the fan motor and valves, you need a line-voltage model. However, if the unit has its own internal relay board or is part of a larger building automation loop, you’ll need a 24V low-voltage stat.

Issues usually come from crossed wires on the fan speed terminals or accidentally swapping the heating and cooling outputs. We also see a lot of thermostats doesn't work caused by a voltage mismatch—trying to run a 24V stat on 230V power. Also, don’t forget the sensors; if you’re running a 2-pipe changeover system without a water temp sensor, the thermostat won't know whether to blow hot or cold air.

For most commercial BMS integrations, BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU are still the industry go-to’s. They are the most reliable protocols for getting all your thermostats talking to a central controller.
